Dear Father Bergman,

This letter is in response to your presentation made to the Executive Committe of the Diocesan Building Commission on September 26, 1996.

The Diocesan Building Commission sincerely appreciated the excellent presentation made by Mr. Joe Lang. He was very thorough in his consideration of each of the possible uses of the original site.

The Diocesan Building Commission has not approved the construction of new Church buildings on sites of less than ten, and if possible, fifteen acres. The site of the burned out Church at the very most would be 2.3 acres. In accordance with this policy of the Diocesan Building Commission, the parish should be looking for sites of approximately fifteen acres. When a list of possible sites has been gathered, these should be brought to the Diocesan Building Commission.
