LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

I feel I should thank the people who bought tickets on the quilt, given to the Restore workers, that want to save the old building of All Saints Church as a memorial of what was, and can still be. The idea was not against the new building but Stuart can use the old building for many purposes; maybe a museum, or more library space; it’s something to think about.

Many people never knew there was a town of Stuart, Iowa before this all happened. It’s time to pick up the pieces and see what can be done. So, I hope all those who have already bought tickets feel as good as I do about it. “My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me the rest of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Inez Michael
Menlo, Iowa

NOTE: Tickets are still available and will be for several weeks. The quilt can be sent by mail anywhere to whoever’s name is drawn. Inez.
